2021 GPDN Webinar Series

The Great Plains Diagnostic Network is excited to kick off the GPDN Webinar Series for 2021! This year the series will be hosted via Zoom. The series will feature speakers from universities and government agencies across the country. Topics include invasive pests, modeling, and updates on some diseases. These topics are relevant to pest management specialists and diagnosticians in plant pathology, entomology, and weed science.

Weedy Wednesday Webinar Series

The Montana Weed Control Association and MSU Extension Invasive Plants present 8 new webinars that specifically address noxious weed issues and topics. Some webinars in the series will be worth one credit.
Wednesdays at 1:00PM MST, from February 3rd through March 31st, via WebEx.

Irrigating Montana Fruit Crops for Efficiency, Fruit Quality, and Conservation
Join the Western Agricultural Research Center for a virtual presentation and discussion about irrigating Montana fruit crops. Learn how to optimize your irrigation schedule and system to your site and crop’s needs. Irrigating efficiently saves time and resources while promoting healthier orchards.
Dr. Troy Peters will discuss simple ways Montana fruit growers can improve their irrigation practices for better yields, lower pest and disease pressure, and water conservation.
